That magical time of year has returned: growing season! We may have started a little earlier here than you might think; Lisianthus seeds were started back on the 2nd of February! They are all tucked into the garden now, and if they can weather all the wet we seem to be getting, oh, the way they will pay me back in beauty in a couple of months. There’s so much to look forward to!
At this point nearly all the cold hardy annuals are in the ground or hardening off, and it’s time to get those tender annuals going pretty soon. In the meantime, the narcissus and tulips are putting on a glorious show, the serviceberry and magnolia are blooming and the crabapple should join them any day now here in zone 5b.
